Bald Mountain is excited to anounce the opening of its new base in Deadhorse!
Bald Mountain is operating its new 300 series Twin Otter and its 900 horsepower Honeywell powered Single Turbine Otter on the North Slope starting the beginning of December 2005.

Our specialized fleet of DeHavilland Otters will provide the perfect mix of Turbine powered, off airport capable, aircraft on the North Slope.

Both Otters are IFR certified with the latest Garmin GPS integrated navigation systems. The Twin Otter is outfitted with high floatation wheel landing gear, long range tanks, de-ice, cargo doors, Iridium satellite phones, radar, 500 gallon bulk fuel delivery system, combination cargo and passenger configuration, and data burst flight following.

The Single Turbine Otter is a 10 passenger airplane operating on wheel skis with a useful load of 3500 pounds. The airplane has been converted using a new 1000 horse power Honeywell/Garrett direct drive turbine. Fully equiped with IFR certified GPS navigation and Integrated Iridium satellite communications.

Our base in Deadhorse has warm storage for perishable freight and a passenger staging area with clean rest rooms and hot coffee. We will open on December 15, 2005. Crew and aircraft are available for charter now. Please contact us at 907-399-1048 in Deadhorse or toll free, 800-478-7969.
